About Russia Midlands Business Club
The Russia Midlands Business Club was set up to help companies and individuals based in the Midlands establish and expand their business in Russia.
Who was behind the idea to set up the Russia Midlands Business Club?
The Russia Midlands Business Club is the brainchild of Anna Sinelnikova, Nottingham.
A large proportion of British businesses trading with Russia are located in the Midlands, but most of the business interest and networking groups are London-based.
Anna wanted to create a local group for companies to meet and share experiences, to help to increase the region’s trading opportunities with Russia.
The Russia Midlands Business Club is the first initiative of its kind to be set up outside London.
When was the Russia Midlands Business Club established?
The Club was launched on 18th September 2008, with a networking evening held in Nottingham. More than 100 companies and guests attended from around the region.
