This was our first networking event to be held in West Midlands. Our hosts for the evening were Cobbetts Solicitors in the heart of Birmingham and the event was attended by more than 70 delegates. The guest speaker was Jon Edwards of the London Stock Exchange who gave an interesting and informative talk about the effect of the global financial crisis on the Russian economy and the outlook for the future. The networking continued on into the evening and was followed by a dinner.
